The Muncy Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, November 21 at the St. James Parrish Hall, 215 South Main St. Muncy. Bbrief meeting with Devotions and refreshments given by Lois Velkoff and Linda Hartley. Special Guest, Louise Folmer, Master Gardener will give a presentation following the meeting. Anyone interested in joining the Muncy Garden Club is encouraged to attend.

Nov. 24 The 11th annual Festival of Trees will begin at the Lycoming Mall. Auction will take place Dec. 13 with proceeds going to the Salvation Army.

Annual Lights of Love Ceremony, Sunday, Dec. 1 at Muncy Valley Hospital at 6:30 p.m. Scrolls will be placed in the lobby of the hospital with names of those being honored and remembered.

The annual Wreath-making program offered by the Friends of Muncy Public Library will be held on Monday, December 2, from 6:00-8:00pm. There is a fee of $10.00 per wreath for materials, and pre-registration for the event is required.

WINGS OVER WATER, Saturday, Dec. 7, Montour Preseve, 9-11 a.m., Meet at Goose Cove Overlook. Presented by Jon D. Beam, Senior Naturalist. The numbers and species of waterfowl moving through during migration can change from day to day, so we’ll have a second look at migrants on Lake Chillisquaque. This is a great opportunity to observe migrant species we rarely see at other times of year. Bundle up to spend time outdoors to observe and identify water birds on the lake. Dress for the weather and plan for some walking. Bring binoculars or a spotting scope and a field guide if available.
