Montgomery Locals

By Staff | Dec 3, 2013

I trust that all of you had a happy Thanksgiving holiday followed up with a successful start to your Christmas shopping season. I am typically not a Black Friday shopper. I am more of a Cyber Monday girl. My family ventured out to Lowes on Friday for a home improvement project and drove around the parking lot of the mall just to see how crowded it was. I did take advantage of a custom framing discount at Michaels, but was grateful the sale lasted until Sunday so that I could avoid the Friday crowds.

My tree is up and the holiday lists have begun. This is the season I look forward to the most throughout the year and the one that also seems to fly by the fastest. I am making a Christmas resolution to slow down this year and truly value the time and the meaning of the season. I look forward to hearing from Montgomery and surrounding communities with information on your various holiday events and celebrations.

Also, take a moment to visit the Montgomery Borough website (www.montgomeryborough.org). On the site you will find interesting information about the history of our town as well as news concerning the Watershed project and Revitalization project.
