Revitalize Montgomery met this past week and discussed upcoming projects for the town’s streetscape and signage. They are planning monthly events and I am looking forward to the continued progress that this dedicated committee makes to beautify the town and river area.

The Montgomery Performance Arts Boosters have cancelled their January meeting and will not be meeting again until the first Wednesday in February.

Mark your calendars for the February 2 Oak Grove Community Center breakfast. The event will be held from 8 to 11 a.m.

Some of our high school students from FBLA will be heading to state finals at Hershey in April and spring performances are on their way.

I will be announcing some information on upcoming 2014 events. Whether you are involved in a community organization or church group, we are very interested in bringing attention to your activities.
