The halls of Montgomery school were filled with the sound of band music this past week. Montgomery was this year’s host of the annual Lycoming County Junior County Band festival. Students from various schools in the county combined their talents for this two-day festival.

Congratulations to all of the area schools on post season sports action in basketball and wrestling.

Interested in a movie for the entire family? The LEGO movie fits the bill. This modern cartoon based on the classic children’s toy has humor and story lines sure to entertain young children to adults.

The Montgomery Area School District March board meeting will be held Tuesday, March 18, at 7:00 pm.

The Elimsport United Methodist Church is holding a social time every Wednesday morning from 7 10. Come enjoy a hot coffee or cocoa and socialize. The meetings are being held in the church social hall.
