Hughesville Rotary announced its service organization will be giving away two thousand Norway Spruce seedlings this Saturday, April 19. The event is scheduled to kick off Earth Week activities in the local area.

Up to 5 three year old seedlings will be handed out free of charge to individual families interested in planting them with the objective of improving the environment.

Hughesville Rotary club members will be distributing the seedings starting at 8 a.m. until all trees have been given away. The location for the giveaway will be at the northeast corner of Main and Water Streets, adjacent to the Town Clock in Hughesville.
