Montgomery Locals Apr. 16
We finally had a weekend that felt as if spring was here to stay. Many homeowners in and around the Montgomery area were busy with yard clean ups, garden preparation, and outdoor activities. Saturday’s Spring Fling had many visitors and on Sunday area churches held Palm Sunday services. Many of our youth participated in soccer and baseball games.
The Montgomery school district welcomed back teams participating in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), TSA (Technology Student Association), and OM (Odyssey of the Mind) this week. All teams had reached the state level of competition. Students from our Business classes were also recognized for their participation in the annual Pennsylvania Stock Market game. The students were recognized at a luncheon attended by Governor Corbett.
