Montgomery locals Apr. 23
I hope that you all had a nice Easter holiday. I travelled with my family to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee for the break. I had never been to this portion of the state. It was truly beautiful countryside, and I was able to accomplish a few bucket list items as well as enjoying some holiday time with my family. Some of the highlights included a mountain horseback riding tour and a balloon ride. I highly recommend the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area for any future vacation spots you may be considering.
I am coming back to my busiest week of the year at school; tech week for our spring musical. We began a marathon this past Monday evening and will be done by Sunday afternoon.
Many of us begin our major house cleaning during this time of the year. Consider helping to clean up the borough. The Black Hole Creek organization will be holding a clean-up on Saturday, April 26.
The Montgomery High School music and theatre ensemble, Virtuoso, will be holding its spring musical on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, April 27 at 2 p.m. They will be performing Shrek, the Musical. Tickets will be sold at the door while they are still available.
Also, take a moment to visit the Montgomery Borough website (www.montgomeryborough.org). On the site you will find interesting information about the history of our town as well as news concerning the Watershed project and Revitalization project.
