Sat. Apr. 26 is Walk-in story Time at Muncy Public Library from 10-10:30 a.m. Begin the weekend with story time and music. No registration needed.

Weds. April 30 is Children’s Book Day. Friends from Hughesville Head Start will celebrate the day by a visit to the Muncy Library for a special tour and story time with Miss Victoria.

Sat. May 3 is a unique interactive musical program for those 8 yrs. old and up. Learn about history through folk music at the Montour Preserve from 2-3:30 p.m. Includes audience sing along, the mandolin and fiddle and clog dancing as well as some coal mining stories such as the invention of the first roller coaster from a coal train called the “Switchback.”

May 6th is World Asthma Day

May 13 Friends of Muncy Library will be having book fundraiser from 3-6 p.m., 108 S. Main St., Muncy.

May 15, Muncy Garden Club clean up day for community plantings. Meet at 6 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Parish Hall, Muncy. Girl Scout Troop 60287 will be assisting.
