MUNCY – Lycoming County residents are invited to attend a flood summit meeting from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Paul Geringer Fire Hall, 213 N. Main St, Muncy, PA 17756.

The meeting is an opportunity for residents to meet with legislators such as U.S. Rep. Tom Marino, R-Cogan Station, private flood-insurance agents, engineers, surveyors, and government agencies to see what assistance and options are available to those affected by floodplain and flood-insurance issues.

Muncy Creek Township and Montgomery and Muncy boroughs are holding the summit, and Lycoming County officials also will be there as a resource.
