Local author Rod Knier will visit the library on Monday, May 12th, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. to discuss his books. “New Wine” identifies and confronts some of the issues that Christians dealing with mental illnesses face, and makes suggestions about how to cope. His second book, “How Not to Be a Babbling Hypocrite, A Prayer Study on the Lord’s Prayer”, discusses the scope and setting of the Lord’s Prayer and addresses its sections in an
approachable teaching manner. Please join us. No registration is required.
Tues. May 13 at the Life Center, free presentation on exercise strength over osteoporosis, 1:30 p.m. Learn how to prevent it and live well. Sun. May 18 the Underground Railroad In Quilts” sponsored by the Muncy Historical Society in the Community room of the First United Methodist Church in Muncy, 602 S. Market St. Find out how the slaves used quilts as signals to guide their way to freedom with this hands-on and engaging demonstration starting at 2 p.m.
