Herbs and edibles at PPL’s Montour Environmental Preserve. Healthy and creative cooking starts with the flavorful use of herbs and spices. Join cooking instructor Robert Brown on Sunday, Aug. 10, from 2-5 p.m. in Montour Preserve’s herb garden for an outdoor afternoon of tips on cooking with and cultivating herbs. Topics will include growing your own herbs, preserving and drying herbs, making herb-infused vinegars and oils, and summertime recipes.
