Join Registered and Licensed Dietitians Lisa Pietropola and Jen Davis to learn more about selecting and preparing healthy snacks that are quick and delicious! Barbie Green with the PA Department of Health will provide instruction on proper portion size and choosing a healthier plate using food models and MyPlate. Choose one of three sessions. Thursday, Aug. 21, 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Immunization Clinic at LifeCenter, Lycoming Mall, and provided by the PA Department of Health. Immunizations will be offered to anyone who does not have insurance coverage for the needed vaccination. Payment to the “Commonwealth of Pennsylvania” will be accepted only by personal check or money order. Friday, Aug. 22 Muncy 4th Friday, Harvest Market, downtown Muncy. Join us for the annual corn husking contest. Free corn on the cob afterwards cooked by the fire company volunteers. Also kids activities, bounce house, vendors, food and free give-aways. Local farmers will be selling their produce and other specialty items.
