PENNSDALE – The next meeting for the Susquehanna Valley Quilt Guild will be held Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Pennsdale United Methodist Church.

The program will be presented by one of the newest members to the guild, Sandra Swanson. Sandra comes from California and has quite an extensive quilting background. She will be featuring a lecture and a trunk show. Sandra will be teaching a Bargello quilt workshop on August 30th. This workshop is currently filled. Contact Angie Maietta for cancellations.

Members are reminded that 2014-2015 membership fees are due. Please contact Cindy Craddock to complete your annual renewal. The password will change on Sept. 1.

The 2016 Quilt Show Committee is still looking for volunteers. Call Lindi Schneck to offer assistance for this important fund raiser.

Members are reminded of the new monthly BOM. Participation is easy and members can join any time. Just make a 12 ” unfinished block using any block pattern with any fabric that represents the current month. Bring one or more, Take one or more. A drawing will be held for choice.
