McEwensville Garden Club monthly meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sept 16 at the Community Hall, Main Street, McEwensville. A program “Heirloom Plants – Old is New Again” will be presented by Maggie Shafferman of Hunter’s Run Nursery, Port Royal. Sept. 17 learn some Tips to Reinvent Yourself at the Meck Senior Center to commemorate Healthy Aging Month starting at 11:30 a.m.

Sept. 18, Muncy Garden Club to meet at St. James Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 6:30 to discuss Bloomsburg Fair display, 215 S. Main St., Muncy. Members are asked to bring something that weighs a pound. Barbara Barrett and Lana Newman devotions and refreshments.
Sat. Sept. 20 the 7th Annual Corvette Show on Muncy Main Street. Registration 9-11 a.m. and The Artists rom Our Own Backyard Festival, rain or shine. Trophies awarded at 3 p.m. Free admission. Food vendors and local artisans.
Bloomsburg Fair begins Sept. 20 and ends September 27.
Sun. Sept. 21 begins the Alpha Course at Muncy Baptist Church at 6 p.m. with a light dinner. The course will be held every Sunday night until early December until 8:30 p.m. Anyone and everyone are invited. The course is specifically designed to answer basic questions of Christianity. Located on the corner of Penn and Market Streets, Muncy and held in the Fellowship Room.
