Montgomery Locals Oct. 8
I would like to start by giving credit where credit is due. In last week’s Luminary publication, I was given credit for the Montgomery Homecoming photo on the cover of the newspaper. The photograph was actually taken by Montgomery High School Web Journalism student, Nick Bower, as one of his first off campus assignments. The Journalism class will again be submitting articles and photographs for possible publication in the Luminary throughout the 2014-2015 school year.
My son is currently raking a huge pile of leaves in our yard. It is difficult to believe that leaves are already turning and falling. Autumn is my favorite season. I enjoy the beauty of nature and all of the sites and smells of October and November. We were busy decorating our house this weekend and enjoyed the beginning of the crisp fall temperatures.
The high school Golf and Girl’s Tennis teams will be heading to District competition this week. Good luck to all students and coaches. Congratulations on reaching this level of competition.
