The Muncy Woman’s Club will be meeting today, Weds. Oct. 22 at the Muncy Historical Society at 7 p.m. for a presentation given by Kay Rhinehart on Pennsdale quilts and history.

Tues. Oct. 28 blood pressure screenings at Meck Senior Center, 11:30 a.m. followed by presentation on smoke alarms at home

Oct. 29 & 30 Son Light House Distribution days, 130 Carpenter St., Muncy. Weds. 9:30 to noon and Thurs. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

As in the past few years, The Vineyard Community Activity Center located at 99 Sherman Street in Muncy (corner of High and Sherman Streets) will be open Thursday October 30th during local “trick or treat” for Annual Fall Open House for Halloweeners and their parents to stop in for a treat and a break. Treats, warm and cold beverage and other refreshments will be available. The Vineyard will remain open until 9 p.m. that night. Cash donations will be appreciated. Also the Vineyard will be open on Friday, October 31st for weekly Friday Youth Activity Night from 6:30 until 10 p.m. for students ages 12 to 19 still in high school, even though most of the youth will probably be at the Muncy-Hughesville football game.

Sunday, November 2 United Way Annual Basket Bingo, Pennsdale Volunteer Fire Company and Civic Center, Doors Open 11:30 a.m.

Holiday Craft Show at the Muncy High School, West Penn Street, Muncy on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm to benefit the Muncy High School PTSA (Parents, Teachers, Students Association). Free admission. 75 craft vendors with hand-made crafts and Christmas crafts attend this event! There will also be a basket raffle, quilt raffle, and breakfast and lunch items available for purchase.
