Montgomery Locals Nov. 12
A brand new Junior High music and theater ensemble, Virtuoso Junior, made its debut performance this past Saturday with a performance of the musical, “Aladdin Junior”. Congratulations to the cast and crew for a great first show.
Veteran’s Day observances will be held throughout the community this week. Please take a moment to honor our veterans and their families. The Montgomery Area Historical Society hosted a special program regarding Veterans on Tuesday, November 11. Guest Speaker was Sergeant Major Kevin Bittenbender who has served our country well, earning numerous awards and medals. The program was held in the library in Montgomery. SGM Bittenbender’s program was “The Sacrifice of our Veterans” and touched on his personal experiences from his three deployments and his personal observations of honoring Veterans.
Don’t forget to check out the new “Hometown Heroes” banners that are now placed throughout the borough in honor of our veterans.
