Thurs. Nov. 13 Penn State Extension of Lycoming County will hold its 100th annual recognition dinner at the Pennsdale United Methodist Church. Recognition awards will be presented to leaders and members of the 4-H program as well as other Extension Volunteers. An open reception begins at 6 p.m. A roasted turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Fri. Nov. 14 is National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day and the Central PA Food Bank will be at the Meck Senior Center in Muncy Township to help distribute food at 9 a.m. followed by a program at 11:45 a.m.

Mon. Nov. 17 is Collection Day for Operation Christmas Child at Muncy High School.

Weds. Nov. 19 Muncy Woman’s Club will meet at 7 p.m. at the Muncy Historical Society for a program by Agatha Guisewhite on growing up in Nazi Germany.

Thurs. Nov. 20 save the date for a special program with the Susquehanna Valley Quilt Guild at 7 p.m. held at the Pennsdale United Methodist Church. LuAnn Baskin from Inspirations Quilt Shop in Jersey Shore will be demonstrating how to make a Christmas ornament. This will be a hands on, audience participation project. The Muncy Garden Club will also be meeting Thurs. Nov. 20 with a special program from Sue’s Salves at 7 p.m. to meet at the St. James Episcopal Parish Hall, 215 S. Main St. in Muncy.

Nov. 20 & 21 “The Crucible” by Muncy High School, 200 W. Penn Street, Muncy at 7 p.m.

Nov. 21 & 22 Christmas Bazaar will be held at Church of Resurrection in Muncy. Friday from 2-6 and Saturday from 9 to 2. Crafts, home made soups, chili and baked goods for sale.
