McEwensville Garden Club presents windows of holiday treasures

The McEwensville Garden Club will be holding their 39th Annual Holiday Show on November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd 2014 at the Community Building in the village of McEwensville.

This year’s theme is “Windows of Holiday Treasures”.A Town Square features the following shop windows to peek into and admire the merchandise: A Caf?, Candy Shop, Christmas Tea Music Boxes, Mercantile Store, Old World Christmas, Pottery Nook, Toy Shop and Vintage Exclusive.The store items will bring back many past memories.

There will be many fresh flower arrangements on display to admire.The clubs members use only fresh, natural or dried materials in their arrangements.

Each year the club decorates a tree and donates the tree and trimmings to a family or an adult in their home in the community.

Winterberries and raffle tickets can be purchased to help support scholarships to local students and support community projects.

As a final treat there is a beautiful decorated table filled with holiday refreshments of homemade cookies and punch.

The times for the event are Friday Nov. 21 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Saturday 22 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday 23 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
