Montgomery Locals Nov. 19
Veteran’s Day observances were held in both the Montgomery Elementary and Junior/Senior High School this past week. All grade levels in the elementary were featured in a tribute. The Junior/Senior High School program was presented by various performance classes.
The Montgomery High School music and theater ensemble, Virtuoso, will be holding its fall play this weekend, November 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. The group will be presenting the classic, “Our Town” and tickets can be purchased at the door. Discounts are offered for students and senior citizens.

The Montgomery Library is always available for story telling plus books and movies to rent now that the colder weather is here.
Consider joining the Montgomery Historical Society. The group is very active in the Montgomery borough and surrounding area and has recently rekindled their newsletter mailings.

United Churches of Montgomery welcome you to the annual Thanksgiving Service on Sunday November 23, at 7:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Montgomery. Speakers will be Mayor Andrew Onufrak, Pastor Dave Jacobs, music featuring Gary Steele and Shirley West.
