Montgomery Locals Dec. 3
I trust that all of you had a blessed and relaxing Thanksgiving. It was nice to have some down time without a packed schedule of events. My family enjoyed time together as well as putting up our tree. I also found quite a few good deals on Black Friday, but was able to do all of my shopping from my couch. I have discovered that online deals are more enjoyable to me than battling crowds.
The Thanksgiving weekend is also important to many in our area because of the pending kick-off to Buck season. Good luck to all area hunters. Be safe!
A few business community members were invited to meet the State & Local Government class at the high school last Friday. Mr. Laidacker and his students are making plans to become more iinvolved in the Montgomery community! They have organized a contest for the “Best Christmas Decorated House in Montgomery”. You will soon be able to get entry forms from local businesses who have all donated some really nice prizes.
The class plans to attend all of the monthly Montgomery Borough meetings. They will also be working on a local newsletter. It’s great to have the students and their teachers involved!
Check out Revitalize Montgomery Facebook page if you haven’t yet.

She will also be selling and maybe taste testing her awesome Chicken Potpie as a fund raiser for Revitalize Montgomery. Everyone is welcome to participate.
