Montgomery businesses are getting ready for a big holiday event on Saturday, Dec. 13 when Santa arrives in his wooden trolley.

MONTGOMERY – Montgomery Rocks – rockin’ with Santa that is. For the “Revitalize Montgomery” team is having another big “Second Saturday” event on December 13th, from 11a.m. until 2 p.m. on Main street in downtown Montgomery.

Stores decorated for the holidays will be offering specials. Santa Claus will visit town in a wooden trolley that will be located in front of the Montgomery Borough Maintenance building.

Tina Tickle from Tickle’s music store and Cafe will be selling Chicken Potpie to raise money for Revitalize Montgomery and matching grant money to revitalize the community’s appearance.

There will be a raffle for Holiday Decorated Slates. Time Gone Primitives and Antiques will have specials in their store, and there will be a canned food drive for the “Footprints of Montgomery” food pantry. Toys for Tots will be collecting toys for children.
