I have had a very eventful January to this point. Rehearsals are underway for our spring musical, “Footloose”. My son is busy with basketball and the second quarter is quickly coming to an end at school. It’s difficult to believe that the first month of 2015 is already coming to a close.

The Revitalize Montgomery Committee will be meeting Wednesday, January 28 at 10 a.m. at the Valley Rehabilitation on Main Street.

The Performance Arts Boosters are holding a Dance Marathon for all students in the extra curricular vocal and band programs. The students will be dancing for six hours in order to raise money for the spring musical and new band uniforms. This mini marathon will be held Friday, January 30 in the cafeteria from 4:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. If you are interested in sponsoring a student or making a food donation, please contact any student or Carina McNear at cmcnear@montasd.org.

The Oak Grove Community Center will be holding its February Breakfast on Sunday, February 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
