Montgomery alumnus, John Goetz (class of 2011), was the flag bearer at the NBA All Star game held at Madison Square Garden this past Sunday evening. Goetz is attending West Point and is currently in his Color Guard semester. Congratulations to John and his family on this incredible honor.

Five of our high school wrestlers will be attending Districts next weekend after their placements in last Saturday’s sectional tournament. Participating wrestlers will be Kyle Drick, Jacob Chamberlin, Zach Shadle, Kobe Galentine, and Thomas Goetz. Goetz finished first in his weight class.

Congratulations also goes to senior, Emily Winder, for placing first chair saxophone while at Region Band last week. This first place finish guarantees her a trip to State Band.

The Montgomery Alumni Association is holding a fund raising event at Wendy’s in Muncy on February 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please consider coming out to support the alumni organization.
