Congratulations to the Lady Raider Basketball team for their first round district game played this past Sunday. Although they lost to Sayre, the ladies have much to be proud of with their efforts and growth throughout the year.

Aslo another congratulations to the winning team champions of the 2014 Stock Market Game. They were Nicholas Bower, Dylan Smith, Dylan Rupert, and Samantha Thomas. Their advisor was Ryan Monoski. Montgomery has been participating in this educational state wide program that is presented online in the classrooms.

This Saturday, Feb. 28 from 1-3 p.m. SunnyBrook Meadows, a therapeutic horse riding program, will hold volunteer training for their upcoming spring session. Located on 426 State Home Road, Montgomery. Call Edna at 570-547-1565 to reserve your spot.

The Oak Grove Community Center will be holding its March breakfast on Sunday, March 1, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Montgomery OM program will be offering their annual Parent’s Day performance showcase on Sunday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in the high school gym. Families, friends, and community members are invited to attend as well. The event is an opportunity for students to rehearse in front of a live audience before their upcoming competition.
