“Queen Victoria” to be at ELHS tea

HUGHESVILLE – Character impersonator Meg Geffken of Columbia County will be the program speaker for the annual tea which benefits the East Lycoming Historical Society. Great Britain’s former monarch is credited with being the originator of the Victorian Age, an opulent era in time to which people refer to today. The ‘Queen’ will entertain personal questions.
A three course fare of tea and scones, savories and sweet desserts will be offered. Added to the festivities will be door prizes and chance items.
