Annual high school concert to be held May 6

MUNCY – The Muncy Junior-Senior High Band and Chorus will present their annual “Spring Concert” on Wednesday evening, May 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Muncy High School Auditorium. The program will open with the Junior-Senior High Chorus performing selections including Promised Land by Sleeth and arranged by McDonald, Moon at the Ruined Castle by Taki arranged by Snyder, Bye, Bye Love arranged by Chinn, Cross the Wide Missouri arranged by Besig and Don’t Stop Believin’ arranged by Billingsley.

Some of the Junior-Senior High Band selections for the program will include Fanfare for The Common Man arranged by Longfield, Whirligigs by Curnow. The instrumental portion of the program will feature the M.H.S. Jazz Band playing Happy arranged Berry, Tunisia arranged by Sweeney and Chicken arranged by Story. The concert will conclude with the band and chorus performing the Muncy High School Alma Mater.

The Muncy Junior- Senior High School Band is under the direction of Mrs. Sherri Doebler. The Muncy Junior-Senior High School Chorus is under the direction of Mr. George A. Henry. Mr. Richard Cummings is the Extra-Curricular Vocal and Instrumental Teacher. Mrs. Lucille Buck is the choral accompanist. The public is cordially invited to attend this concert.
