It was a busy week for me with the recent musical production of Virtuoso. Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Footloose” on a fantastic run of shows.

Now that the weather is cooperating, be sure to check out some of the remaining Montgomery athletic events. Our baseball, softball, and track teams would appreciate the support.

This Saturday, May 9 is Montgomery’s Second Saturday on Main Street, with DJ music, food, and craft vendors.

The calendar for Revitalize Montgomery this year includes “Second Saturdays” every month. Anyone is welcome to come and set up a table for your organization, or to sell crafts or products. There is no fee for having a table. The hours are from 11 a.m. till 2 or 3 p.m. Local food vendor “Smokin’ Bob’s BBQ” will be setting up for May 9th’s event. There will be a DJ trailer in the parking lot across from the Borough office with live musicians. Note that May 9th is the day before Mother’s Day – a good time to set up a table selling things that would make good gifts – jewelry, kitchen goodies, potted plants and more.
