A special weekend of activities is being planned for the class of ’65 to celebrate their 50th reunion. On Friday evening, May 22, members of the class of ’65 will meet at Orlando’s. Saturday morning, there will be a tour of the Munch High School and in the afternoon there will be another tour, this time at the Muncy Historical Society.
Saturday night is the banquet and later in the evening, members and guests will gather back at Orlando’s. Sunday afternoon a classmate has invited everyone from the class to be a guest at his vacation home at Lake Makoma.
“A real special treat for our reunion will be a special yearbook prepared by one of our classmates for us,” said Mike Myers. “Each of us will have our own page showing, at the top of the page, both our senior picture and a recent picture.” Classmates each submitted a brief bio of their life over the past 50 years complete with about a dozen photos according to Myers. “About 80 per cent or our remaining classmates have participated. This yearbook has been nearly a year in the making, as we each sent in information for our page. It will be a real treasure for us.”
Meanwhile, The Alumni Association reunion will be held for all grades ending in 5 and 0 will be honored, and graduates can celebrate at Myers Elementary School, Muncy. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

We “challenge” each of you to donate to the Alumni Award fund through our “Alumni Class Challenge,” said Jenna Bartlett.
Several items will be raffled off during the night of the banquet and 50/50 tickets. Each reunion class is asked to donate a basket filled with new or classic items, antiques/memorabilia, handmade items, nostalgia from their graduating year for a basket raffle.
