Friday, Aug. 28, Muncy 4th Friday with live entertainment from Aaron Kelly, a bounce house for children, a corn husking contest, food, giveaways and lots more from 6-9 p.m. in downtown Main Street Muncy.

Friday, Aug. 28, painted applique technique and trunk show with author and quilt instructor, Linda Poole, at Pennsdale United Methodist Church, 7 p.m. Sponsored by SVQG.

Saturday, Sept. 5, World War II and the Home Front, an exhibit exploring the effects of war on education, art, science, music and culture. Sponsored by the Muncy Historical Society, this exhibit will be held at the Lycoming Mall Community Room. On Center Court at 1:30 p.m. enjoy “The Impact of the War on Music & the Emergence of Swing Dance” with Gary and Bonnie Glidewell who will be demonstrating the fox trot, jitterbug and Lindy Hop aerials.

Saturday, Sept. 19 8th annual Corvettes on Main Street, Muncy with Artists From Our Own Backyard, 10-3, rain or shine. Trophies awarded at 3 p.m. followed by sponsor awards.
