Tues. Sept. 1 the Adult Positive Thought Book Club will meet from 7-8 p.m. in the Community Room of the Muncy Public Library. For more info, please call Krista McManigle at 570-337-4359.

Pre-school story time with Miss Amber will begin on Sept. 2 and continue for each Weds. for children and their caregivers, ages 3-6 years. All pre-school storytimes run from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Toddler Tales with Miss Victoria will begin Friday, Sept. 4th for 12 months to 3 1/2 years and their caregivers at the Muncy Public Library, and every Friday in Sept. from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Sat. Sept. 5, Lycoming Mall at Center Court, 1:30 p.m., swing dance presentation on “The Impact of the War on Music & the Emergence of Swing Dance.” Also exhibit from noon to 8 on World War II and the Home Front in the Lycoming Mall Community Room, and Sunday from noon to 4.

Tues. Sept. 8 book fundraiser at Muncy Public Library sponsored by Friends of the Library from 3-6 p.m. Donations will be accepted Tues. Sept. 1st from 9-4 and Weds. Sept. 2 from noon to 8 p.m.

Mon. Sept. 14 and 28, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Baby Caf in Muncy. Expecting, new or experienced mothers are encouraged to join us at Baby Caf at First United Methodist Church, Muncy. This group discussion gives moms an opportunity to talk with other moms about their pregnancy and after birth experiences in a safe and relaxed, child-friendly environment. A board-certified lactation consultant will facilitate the group. Exchange tips about breastfeeding, receive breastfeeding support and discuss parenting concerns with other moms. Sept. 16 & 17, Son Light House distribution days, 130 Carpenter Street, Muncy. Weds. from 9:30 to noon and Thurs. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Volunteers, money and food donations, especially cereal are always needed. For more information or to get involved, call Ken and Delores Frey at 546-3585.
