McEwensville Garden Club to meet at the McEwensville Community Hall on Tues. Sept. 15 at 7:00 p.m. Guest speaker will be Mandy Ballengee who will talk about “Using herbs & flowers in crafting natural soaps and salves.” An invitation is sent for the public as well. Refreshments will be served.

On Thursday, September 17 the Muncy Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the St. James Episcopal Church parish hall, 215 S. Main St., Muncy. Once again organic gardener, Sue Morris from Sue’s Salves will present a program on nutritional healing with herbs and making natural healing skin products. Open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Sat. Sept. 19 a special used book fundraiser at the Muncy Public Library from 9 to 1 during the annual Corvette show on Main Street. Stop in for some cheap reads!

On Weds. Sept. 23rd Cynthia Koons from Muncy will be presenting a program on healing herbs at the Muncy Historical Society, 7 p.m. sponsored by the Muncy Professional Woman’s Club. Secretary; Carol Pittinger, Treasurer; Elaine Hacker and Georgia Stauffer, Program Committee; Jean Hester, Historian; Emma DeWald, Publicity; and Sue Scott, Social Concerns.
