MONTGOMERY – The Red Raider Foundation is reminding community members that the September 30 deadline is approaching to nominate former Montgomery Area High School graduates for the first Alumni Hall of Fame recognition.

To be considered, nominees must be alumni of the Montgomery Area School District for at least 10 years and must meet one or more of the following criteria: (1) made an outstanding contribution to society, (2) excelled in their careers, or (3) provided exceptional support to the Montgomery Area School District and/or community.

A committee composed of Red Raider Foundation board members will review the nominations and select inductees for this first Graduate Hall of Fame. The nomination forms of candidates nominated but not chosen for this first recognition will be retained, however, and considered for future acknowledgement.

Nomination forms are available in Montgomery at the Borough Office, Jersey Shore State Bank, Public Library, and Weis Market. They are also available in Muncy and Dewart at the Muncy Bank and Trust.
