An important message from the Montgomery Red Raider Foundation: September 30 is the deadline for nominations for the Red Raider Foundation’s first graduate Hall of Fame. Forms and necessary information for nominations can be found in Montgomery at the Borough Office, Jersey Shore State Band, Montgomery Library and Weis Market. Forms can also be picked up at Muncy Bank & Trust in both Muncy and Dewart.
“Revitalize Montgomery” continues its work as fall draws near. If interested, meetings are still held twice each month. The first Wednesday of the month is an evening meeting at “Tickle’s Music” Store beginning at 6:00 p.m. The third Wednesday is a 10:00 a.m. meeting at “Valley Rehab” on Main Street. More help is needed in planning a river trail through the help of the Susquehanna Greenway and some available grants.
