On Sat. Oct. 31 the Vineyard Activity Center invites everyone to stop by from 6 to 9 for trick or treating, food, drinks and games for all ages. Located at 99 Sherman St., Muncy.
Nov. 6 & 7, annual artists’ exhibition and fundraiser from the Muncy Historical Society at the Muncy Township Social Hall, 261 Village Road, Pennsdale.
“Open Playtime” for families with children ages 1-6 yrs, will be held Sat. Nov. 7th, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Community Room. Bring your child into the library to play with some developmentally appropriate toys while you network with other parents in a safe, relaxed environment. No registration is necessary for this activity.
Thurs. Nov. 12 Penn State Extension of Lycoming County will hold its 101st Annual Recognition Dinner at the Pennsdale United Methodist Church. Recognition awards will be presented to leaders and members of the 4-H program as well as other Extension Volunteers. An open reception begins at 6 p.m. with milk punch being served. A roasted turkey dinner will be served at 6:30 followed by a brief program presented by Phillip J. Clauer, Extension Specialist in the Poultry Department at The Penn State University. Phil will discuss the current topic of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), the disease caused by infection with avian (bird) influenza (flu) Type A viruses. Call 570-433-3040 to register.
