Mon. Nov. 9 the Muncy Business and Professional Women’s Club will present a program on the history of The Luminary with guest speaker, Barb Barrett, editor who will also bring some very old copies of Muncy’s newspaper. Program and meeting to begin at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy. Recently the organization presented Alllison Edwards, a 2015 Muncy High School graduate with a scholarship award to further her education. She is now attending Lycoming College. This scholarship fund was established in 1954 to assist a local Muncy graduate.

Tues. Nov. 10 used book fundraiser at the Muncy Public Library, 108 S. Main St. from 3-6 p.m. Bring a book and exchange it for a book.

Sat. Nov. 14 Holiday craft show at Muncy High School from 9 to 2 to benefit the Muncy High School PTSA. Free admission, over 70 craft vendors. There will also be raffles and food items available for purchase.

Mon. Nov. 16 at the Muncy Public Library “Kids Construction Club” for children 5 years and up and their parents. All materials are provided by the Library, and pre registration is appreciated.

Thurs. Nov. 19 meeting for SVQG with special presentation by Cindy Campbell on how to make fabric bowls. Starting at 7 p.m. at the Pennsdale United Methodist Church.
