MONTGOMERY – Virtuoso, the Montgomery High School music and theatre ensemble, will be presenting their fall play, “It’s a Wonderful Life”, Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The ensemble is thrilled to be bringing this classic film to the stage and will be presenting it in gray scale.
All sets, props, costumes and make-up have been designed to look as if the audience were watching a black and white movie. “We endeavor to pay homage to this holiday favorite that reminds us that true wealth comes from friends and family,” said Cari McNear, advisor and director of Virtuoso.
Tickets are available on the showtix4u website or can be purchased by calling 1-866-967-8167. You can also access the ticket site through the school website at www.montasd.org. Tickets will be sold at the door but reserved seating is encouraged.
Virtuoso has been in existence for 17 years, but is in its eighth season as a combined theatre and vocal ensemble. Virtuoso’s most recent performances were “Footloose” in April and “Our Town” last fall.
