Montgomery Locals Feb. 3, 2016
My family and I spent much of our weekend on the road back and forth to Camp “K” in Laurelton. Our local Scout troop experienced a weekend of camping. It was beautiful weather for travelling in January.
Congratulations to seniors Kelsey Roberts and Amy Winder who represented Montgomery in the PMEA District Band festival held in Jersey Shore this past week. Both girls earned first chair and will continue on to the Region level of competition.
Montgomery athletics had a very successful week. Our Lady Raiders have officially made playoffs for the second year in a row. They also had their annual Parents Night on Friday and honored Dionna Satteson who continues to be a constant presence on the team. In wrestling news, Lucas Drick placed first, Jacob Chamberlin finished second and Brandon Daldo earned fourth in their weekend tournament.
Two of our technology students also found success at the TSA conference on Saturday. Jason Hill placed first and Jacob Thomas third in CADD 3D Engineering. Hill also placed third in Dragster Design and Thomas third in Materials Process.
Please consider following @MASDnews on Twitter or via our YouTube channel, The Raider Tube. Both of these digital mediums are created and maintained by the high school Broadcasting class. The intention is to help share Montgomery news and events with our community if they are unable to attend an event.
