Muncy locals Feb. 3, 2016
This is Heart Healthy month so the ELYMCA has offered to pass along some heart healthy tips. Friday is wear red day to raise awareness for women’s heart health, and red always looks good on everyone.
This past Sunday turned out to be a nice walking day outdoors. The temperature in the sun reached 57 degrees on my front porch. Those of you who enjoy walking, the trails at the Montour Preserve are open and being maintained through funding efforts of the Montour Area Recreation Commission. They anticipate opening up more programming opportunities and want to open up the Preserve to the public for family gatherings, educational tours, and gardening. They are seeking more volunteers and supporters to help with the maintenance. If you are interested in helping out physically or monetarily call Bob Stoudt at 570-336-2060 or rstoudt@MontourRec.com.
