Dr. Seuss Day celebrated at Muncy Library

By Staff | Feb 17, 2016

Please join the Community Room of the Muncy Public Library for the annual “Read Across America” celebration on Wednesday, March 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

This is the third year for the activity, and Louise Fulmer will once again be the guest reader. Each child who attends will receive a new book to keep, courtesy of CLUST and the Muncy Public Library.

The program is geared for preschoolers and their caregivers. Registration is required, so please call the library at 570-546-5014 or stop by the circulation desk.

This event is being sponsored by CLUST Retired, which is part of PSEA Retired Teachers Association. According to Ms. Fulmer, their goal is “to enhance literacy and encourage young children and their families to read together, to enjoy their local libraries, and to have books in the home”.
