Muncy resident to discuss Quaker faith Feb. 29

WILLIAMSPORT The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will continue its Glimpse of Religion in America series with a program about the Quaker faith at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 29.
Melissa Rycroft, of Muncy, will discuss the Quaker faith and the community in Pennsdale. She will talk about worship methods, common Quaker practices and beliefs, and what it means to be a Quaker today.
She is a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quaker), and active with the Pennsdale Monthly Meeting. She also is active in the Upper Susquehanna Quarterly and participates in the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting as the clerk of Nominating Council.
The program will take place in the Lowry Room on the third-floor of the Welch Children’s Wing. Registration is suggested, but not required.
