Open house set for this Sunday at Hughesville Library

By Staff | Mar 31, 2016

Hughesville Area Public Library is holding an Open House on Sunday, April 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the opening of the new library building.

From a humble beginning in the home of Alice Wheelock in 1940, the library has grown and flourished to become the current modern facility that exists today. The community, whose support has been vital to the growth and success of the local library, is invited to attend and see first-hand the materials and services that are available to all area residents. Light refreshments will be available in the library’s community room.

See the library’s web site for more information at www.hughesvillelibrary.org.The library is located at 146 S. Fifth Street in Hughesville.
