West Branch Chorale prepares for spring concerts
The West Branch Chorale is preparing for their annual spring concerts. Jeanne Berninger, the director of the group, announced her retirement following these concerts. The program entitled “Memories” will highlight the director’s 38 years of leading the group.
The Chorale will sing jazz renditions of “All the Things You Are”, “Sing, Sing, Sing” and “Where or When.” From Broadway you will hear “My Favorite Things,” “Think of Me” and “Somewhere Out There.”
An original composition, “Here in Me” composed by Chorale member Kathleen Radspinner, will be debuted by the group.
Joy Barto is the accompanist for the Chorale with John Collins on drums and Clifton Hungerford on bass.
This concerted will be presented on Sunday, April 10 at 3 p.m. at Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, 944 E. Penn Street, Muncy, and again on Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 700 Fairview Drive, Montoursville.
The public is cordially invited to attend this concert. A free will offering will be taken. Come and enjoy the music as the West Branch Chorale bids farewell to their director, Jeanne Berninger.
