Also this month the Muncy Public Library is introducing a new program for adults, and it sounds very therapeutic. Starting on Thursday, April 28 and the 4th Thursday of every month you can come and color and chat after a busy day. Coloring projects will be provided, or you can bring your own.
The Lycoming County Dairy Association is accepting applications for a dairy princess for the new season. If you know anyone from age 9 to 16 who has a desire to promote dairy products contact Laura Taylor at 570-560-0324 or Becky Steppe at 570-6757. Muncy School District was well represented for the open house public tour on Saturday morning despite the snow and cold temperatures. Superintendent Skaluba and the school board made it very clear that they want to hear all comments and suggestions about updating or renovating the facilities and sharing those suggestions before any decisions are ever made. If you did not make the tour or public meeting, you can still contact the district with your response at 570-546-3127 (ext. 2000) or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. There were some good points made during the discussions and the feasibility study will be going on for the next few months. You can also send any public opinions or comments in a letter to The Luminary to be published at anytime. Send to email@example.com or you can address it to PO Box 266, Hughesville, PA 17737.
