Montgomery Locals July 20, 2106

By Staff | Jul 21, 2016

Can I make a confession? I love history, and I always have. I remember that my interest started when I asked my uncle Jim who the men on coins were and he patiently told me the names of each of them. My interest continued to grow and now I have the opportunity to research, investigate, and interview for historical pieces about Montgomery for the Luminary. It truly is a labor of love and I want to thank all of you who have shared kind words about my pieces to me, my editor, and the staff of The Luminary.

THOT “History cannot give us a program for the future, but it can give us a fuller understanding of ourselves, and our own common humanity, so that we can better face the future.” Robert Penn Warren
