Montgomery Locals Sept. 7, 2016
Summer is nearing its end and school is back in session. I love the hustle and bustle of fall, the spectacular colors when the leaves change, the sound of dried leaves blowing in the breeze, the fun of back to school time, the craft shows and activities, apple cider, and candy corn. I am more than ready to trade the awful humidity for sweater weather.
I hope that all of the faculty, staff and students at the Montgomery Area School District have a wonderful year – especially the senior class. Make lots of memories because twelfth grade goes by in a hurry! Fall sports are in full swing, and I want to wish all of the Montgomery Red Raider sports teams a safe and victorious season.
If you know of a child in the Montgomery Area School District in need of backpack or school supplies, please call the Montgomery United Methodist Church at 547-6948 and leave a message. They will give away free backpacks and school supplies while supplies last.
