Muncy Locals Sept. 21, 2016
Wow that was some storm Sunday night in Muncy. The school district had to close due to power lines closed off from fallen trees. We did need the rain, however, and damage control from the strong winds took place on Monday while clean up crews removed debris. Some homes had roof damage and police said trees are fallen everywhere. The storm only lasted a short while during the dinner hour, but the worst of it was over Muncy according to officials.
Strong winds varying from 60 to 90 miles an hour were reported. Young Industries lost a roof and some walls, and trees were down just about everywhere in the borough.
