PICTURE ROCKS – On Thursday, April 13, the Muncy Creek Watershed Association will have a public meeting to view a project on Laurel Run that involves repairing a dam where the Muncy Creek Sportsmen hold their annual kids fishing derby.

The dam is located on Laurel Run at the Van Rensselaer Park near the Ferrell Elementary School. Meet at the park at 6:30 p.m.

The second part of the program will be viewing trout at the Bob King Nursery on Roaring Run where approximately 9,000 brook, brown, rainbow and golden trout are, that will be stocked in the small feeder streams of Lycoming and Sullivan counties.
