Montgomery Locals, Sept. 6, 2018
Earlier this week we experienced some absolutely sickeningly humid weather. My theory is that since it poured buckets most of the summer, the sun decided to cram three months worth of heat into a few days. Yikes!
Thankfully, we have fall to look forward to. We are beginning to see the start of different local festivals, the weather will be cooling down, and there will be football games to attend. So bring on the hot chocolate, thick sweaters, and festivals. It’s time to relax and enjoy one last season of outdoor activities before we’re snowed in for the winter!
The leaves will eventually start to change colors, but as you’re admiring the beautiful piles of orange and gold leaves that will soon be gracing the streets keep a sharp eye out for something else painted rocks. Red Raider Rocks has nearly doubled its membership in the last month and the group’s Facebook page is filled with people painting, hiding, and finding rocks. Join in the fun if you haven’t already gotten involved!
