Also starting tomorrow are sessions of “Bible Talks” initiated by Sandra Shaw and she will be holding them informally at the YWCA in Williamsport on Thursdays until Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. No collections or literature and everyone is welcome, she said. You can reach her at 978-621-9780.
Some of you will be preparing to head for warmer weather soon, so I want to give you a heads up about another scam that can happen through the USPS if you are changing or rerouting your address for mail. When completing a change of address form (COA), no ID is required so be sure your request is confirmed by written notice to you for both addresses. If you are not getting mail for several consecutive days in your name, contact your post office to make sure you are not victimized. And be sure to check credit card and bank accounts regularly. Anyone can walk into any post office and complete a COA.
‘Tis the time of fall, and with it comes our favorite Pumpkin patches and hayrides. Check out Green Barn Berry Farm and Styers Farm for the pumpkins, live animals, flowers and lots of fall decorations.
